Rachel Wilson MScPT RYT RPYT
Registered Physiotherapist
Rachel completed her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at the University of Toronto in 2007 with high distinction. During these studies she discovered physiotherapy as a patient when injury sidelined her from the sports that she loved. Through her own recovery, she was inspired to complete her Masters in Physiotherapy in 2009. This allowed her to harness her love of studying human motion to help others regain their ability to participate in whatever activities inspire them to be active and keep moving.
To help her do this Rachel has completed levels 1-3 of the Orthopaedic Division of the Physiotherapy Association. She is also certified in Graston Technique and Functional Movement Screening allowing her to both assess and treat movement in the athletic population. Rachel has a passion for treating women across the lifespan through pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause and menopause as a Registered Pelvic Health Physiotherapist.
Rachel has completed her Yoga Teacher Training and incorporates these principles into her practice. When she is not in clinic, Rachel can usually be found relaxing by the water, practicing yoga, walking the family dog or chasing around two very active little boys.
